    with the new Gallus ECS 340.

    The innovative Gallus ECS 340 offers the ideal price/performance ratio for commodity label manufacture. In other words, you benefit from top print quality at minimal cost per label. With this goal in mind, during the development of the Gallus ECS 340 we focused on the essential features and dispensed with any costly extras. We also took the technology to the next level by equipping the Gallus ECS 340 with a granite core – a perfect, extremely hard and durable material that delivers the ultimate in precision and smooth operation. Further benefits:

    Maximum profitability.

    The extremely short web path of just 1.1 m between printing units minimises waste and maximises profitability.

    Optimum efficiency.

    Anilox roller sleeves, print cylinder sleeves and a chambered blade system ensure minimised makeready times, fast job and ink changes and thus a high level of efficiency.

    Excellent green credentials.

    A water-cooled UV drying system that generates no exhaust air makes for low energy consumption, an eco-friendly CO2 balance and minimum emissions.

    Maximum ease of operation.

    Simple and intuitive operation of the press functions via a large control panel with a Human Machine Interface (HMI) design.

    Printing processes.

    UV flexographic printing, cold foil and lamination.

    Processing.

    Rotary diecutting unit, slitter and matrix rewinder.

    Applications.

    Examples: Labels for foodstuffs, dairy products, beverages, pharmaceuticals and household items.

    The Gallus ECS 340 adapts to your requirements as and when needed.

    We focused on the essentials when developing the Gallus ECS 340, but this does not mean to say its performance is restricted in any way. You can expand the machine as your requirements grow. The configurator can give you an overview of your ideal press. For technical reasons, we are unable to show you all the various accessories and configuration solutions at this point.     Step 1.

    Before making a start on the detailed configuration of the Gallus ECS 340, please first define the printing equipment and the number of inking and diecutting units. To do so, simply click the requisite number of times on the plus and minus signs in the “Inking units” and “Diecutting units” text fields. Click on the “Add accessories” button to advance to the next configuration stage.

    Printing equipment.

    Aluminium.
    Plastic

    Plastic or aluminium? Gallus original aluminium print cylinder sleeves are robust, precise and ensure consistently high print quality. Simply select the appropriate checkbox.

    Inking units

    You can integrate a minimum of four and a maximum of twelve inking units in the Gallus ECS 340.

    Diecutting units

    You can configure the Gallus ECS 340 with a diecutting unit, without a diecutting unit or with two diecutting units.

    Designed with you in mind.

    Any positions on the Gallus ECS 340 that can be extended with one of our many accessories are indicated with a plus sign. Clicking on one of these signs opens a pop-up window listing all the options for extending the press at this point. Click on the “i” symbol after the name for a brief description of your option. Click the mouse to add the chosen accessory to the image. Once you have completed your configuration, click on the “Complete configuration” button.
